Bear Hunts
Plentiful food supplies and an ideal habitat has allowed the black bears of the province to grow and thrive. The average weight sits between 2- and 400 pounds, with the largest bear on record weighing 687 pounds. With both Spring and Fall bear seasons, we are able to offer baited bear hunts, stumble-on hunts and combination ventures in pursuit of moose.
Moose Hunts
Central Newfoundland offers beautiful wilderness vistas unlike any other in Atlantic Canada. With over 120,000 moose on the island, the robust population in our region offers a great odds for a successful hunt.
FISHING
60% of North America’s best Atlantic salmon rivers are found in Newfoundland, with annual salmon runs exceeding 30,000 fish. Stand in our cool, clear waters and try your skill to hook the salmon as they make their way to the rivers mouth. Looking for something different? Try your hand at the brook trout that populate the smaller rivers. Whichever your choose, we know just where to take you.
